This blog serves a two-fold purpose. First, to help keep members of the Family Motor Coach Association's Military & Veterans Chapter (FMCA-MVC) updated on current events. Second, to help provide information to potential new members and the application for New Members and current members to renew.

Pre-rally and dues information
This is a copy of the mass e-mail sent out to all MVC members.
Greetings,
If you have not sent your Pre-rally Registration yet, we just noticed
an error...the deadline for registration is February 6th, 2014. We had
inadvertently stated March 6th, which is really is the evening we hope you will
be at Lake Pines RV Park as we plan a tour (including Ranger Demo) on Friday,
March 7th, thus I need to know how many wish to be included on that excursion.
All registrars will receive a complete itinerary. I have corrected the Registration form in a previous post on this blog.
To reiterate FMCA Chapter Elk's and the Military Veterans, will gather
in Columbus, Ga, on March 7-10, 2014 at the Lake Pines RV Park and Campground.
They have 21 full hookup sites (50 amp electric, water & sewer) and 12 more
double (6 sites side by side) 30 amp with water (dump station available) sites
(for a total of 33 sites) reserved for our group. Needless to say, reservation
is "first come, first served!"
The daily rate for the Pre-rally at Lake Pines RV Park is $32 for full hookups and $25 for the water / electric. Please fill out the attached "Pre-rally Registration Form" with check made out to John Lee, (wagonmaster) for Pre-rally activities and mail to John Lee, President MVC FMCA, 111 Twin Oak Drive, Florence, AL 35633 to obtain these rates and to be included in rally activities. Also, you MUST contact Andy at Lake Pines (phone 706-561-9675) to make your camping reservation for the desired dates and tell him you are registering for the FMCA Military Veterans / Elks International Pre-rally..
The MVC / Elk's Chapters (you must be a member of one of the Chapters, paid up through 2014. Dues can be mailed to Carol Lee, 111 Twin Oak Dr., Florence, AL 35633 with the check for dues made out to Military Veterans Chapter. I know many are members of both.) combined Pre-rally fee is $100 for two persons in a coach, one person/coach is $60, additional persons are $40. See Pre-rally Registration Form. Note: Included in your Pre-rally fee are my 'world famous pulled pork,' breakfast at the VFW and two dinners. A complete itinerary which includes visits to Fort Benning with Ranger Demo, touring the Infantry Museum, a trip to Andersonville, breakfast of "SOS" at the VFW, etc., will be posted on the 'blog' and mass e-mailed in the near future.
We look forward to seeing you in Columbus, GA on March 7-10, 2014 (arrive evening of March 6th or sooner). Be sure to let the campground know if you wish to arrive early or stay over a day or more. Please visit our "blog" on the web at www.mvcfmca.blogspot.com.
